About Councilor Fresolo

John P. Fresolo is a lifelong resident of District 3 and is currently serving as the District Three Worcester City Councilor. Prior to serving on the City Council, John served as State Representative for the 16th Worcester District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from January 1999 - May 2013.

While serving as State Representative, Mr. Fresolo was instrumental in securing funding for the Route 146 Mass Pike project, bringing Walmart and the Mall at Blackstone, and securing $100,000 earmark for additional community policing in the Grafton Hill, Vernon Hill, and Union Hill neighborhoods for 14 consecutive years. Councilor Fresolo's achievements made him known by his constituents as someone that "gets things done."

John is the father of two daughters, Francesca and Maria. He has 2 grandchildren, Sebastian and Alessia. Councilor Fresolo is proud that 3 generations of Fresolos reside in District 3.

Solving Roosevelt School dismissal issues on Grafton Street to ensure student safety and community peace of mind.

Advocating for the renovation of former St. Vincent School of Nursing into affordable senior housing.
