About John Fresolo

John Fresolo, a lifelong resident of Worcester’s District 3, has dedicated his career to public service and improving the quality of life for his neighbors. Born and raised in Worcester, John attended Worcester Technical High School and Central New England College. His deep-rooted connection to the city gives him a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our community.

From 1999 to 2013, John served as the State Representative for the 16th Worcester District, where he was known for his hands-on approach to local issues. He delivered real results, securing a dedicated $100,000 annual earmark for 14 consecutive years to enhance community policing in Worcester. This funding put more officers on foot patrol in neighborhoods like Grafton Hill, Vernon Hill, and Union Hill—something residents could see and feel in their daily lives. To this day, John is most recognized for his commitment to public safety and ensuring police officers had the resources to foster safer communities.

John's focus has always been on delivering real, tangible improvements to everyday life—whether it’s advocating for affordable health care, supporting working families, or strengthening neighborhood services. As Chairman of the Board of Directors at the South Worcester Neighborhood Center and a Board Member for the Village of the Ascension Heights Elderly Apartments, John played a major role in the development of these essential housing units for seniors, ensuring Worcester’s elderly population has safe and affordable living options.

With three generations now calling District 3 home, including his two-year-old grandson, John’s investment in Worcester’s future is deeply personal. Now, he is seeking to bring his experience, dedication, and results-driven leadership to the Worcester City Council. His priorities remain clear: enhancing public safety, delivering essential city services, and fostering economic growth that benefits all residents.

With your support, John Fresolo will continue to fight for Worcester, ensuring it remains a thriving, safe, and welcoming community for generations to come.
